Sudip has 23 years of experience in the Strategic financial advisory services. He brings extensive knowledge and experience in raising equity capital (private and public), M&A, structured finance, portfolio/investment management and sale of businesses in both Indian and overseas markets. Prior to Backbay, Sudip was with Essar. As an Executive Director, he led their strategy, capital markets and M&A initiatives. He was also a Board member. In over 12 years of tenure at Essar, Sudip executed a broad range of domestic and cross border transactions in M&A, private equity, capital market, structured debt etc spanning multiple sectors. Prior to Essar, Sudip worked with NM Rothschild, Arthur Andersen and Lodha Capital Markets in India.
